The Vision
Nona.fm was developed to be an online radio station and that serves residents of Lake Nona. Lake Nona did not have a local audio outlet or voice prior to the launch of nona.fm. The first online station features classic hit music, but there are plans for additional streams with a diverse selection of music from Espanola to rock to country and more.
Another element is the Nona.fm Podcast Network that includes Lake Nona centric podcasts covering a wide-range of subjects. Segments of the podcasts are featured every hour on the stream. The podcasts are available anywhere podcasts can be found including in the nona.fm app. We want to build a group of unique and diverse voices from Lake Nona.
The nona.fm street team are attending events across Lake Nona and broadcasting live to be involved in the community. Future plans include live coverage of sports events and public on-air forum where residents can interact with the leaders in our community.
