The Vegas Gold Knights took a 2 to 0 game lead in the Stanley Cup with a 7 to 2 win over the Florida Panthers Monday night. Tomorrow they return to South Florida for game 3.

FSU softball clinched their fifth appearance in the Women’s College World Series title game with a 5 to 1 win over Tennessee last night. Tonight at 8 PM on ESPN they will face top-seeded Oklahoma.

In the French Open, Rune and Ruud face off this afternoon in the men’s singles. Tomorrow’s women’s matches feature Swiatek and Maia. Muchova and Sabelenka.

State Champions, Lake Nona has topped the girls water polo Orlando Sentinel All-Area team. The Lion’s Emily Scheerer is once again the area and state player of the year. Scheerer dominated with 113 goals, 49 assists, and 39 steals. Zasha Soler made the team as well. Ana Carrera-Requena was an honorable mention.

The Heat wrapped up the Eastern Conference Finals with a 103 to 84 win over the Celtics. They take on the Nuggets on Thursday in game one of the NBA Finals.

Gators baseball will host FAMU on Friday to open NCAA tournament play. They are hoping to the regional round for the first time since 2018.

University of Florida’s, Fred Biondi brought home the men’s golf title, first for the Gators since 2001.

Rays fell to the Cubs 1 to 0. The series continues tonight. Marlins take on the Padres.

Ryan Blaney ended his drought winning a rain-delayed NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600.

On Saturday, the Orlando City tied Atlanta at 1 each.

The Gold Vegas Knights blanked the Dallas Stars 6 to 0 take the Western Conference Finals. The Stanley Cup gets underway Saturday against the Florida Panthers.

USF run-ruled UCF 15-4 in eight innings to advance in the AAC baseball tournament winner’s bracket.

Rays over the Blue Jays 6 to 3 to wrap the series. Tonight they face the Dodgers. Marlins fell to the Rockies 7 to 6. Marlins travel west to take on the Angels.

NASCAR Cup Series is in Charlotte on Sunday for the Coca-Cola 600. The 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 is Sunday afternoon. Alex Palou sits on the pole with an average 234 mph qualifying speed.

Orlando City hosts Atlanta tomorrow night.

Former UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton is joining Josh Haupel in Tennessee as an offensive analyst.

The Florida Panthers make their second trip ever to the Stanley Cup Final after sweeping the Hurricanes with a 4 to 3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The Vegas Golden Knights who have a 3 to 0 lead take on the Dallas Stars tonight at 8 on ESPN.

UCF baseball walked off 5th seed Cincinnati to open the AAC tournament in Clearwater. The 4th seed Knights beat Bearcats 4 to 3. Today UCF faces rival USF.

Rays over the Blue Jays 7 to 3. Marlins beat the Rockies 10 to 2. Both series continue this afternoon.

The Heat try to close the Eastern Conference Finals against the Celtics tonight. They lead 3 games to 1. TNT at 8:30.

UCF softball rallied from behind to beat Memphis 7 to 4 in the American Athletic Conference tournament semifinals, yesterday. The Bulls shutout East Carolina 7 to 0 setting up a rivalry matchup between the Knights and University of South Florida. The will meet this afternoon in Tampa.

Rays over the Yankees 8 to 2. That series continues tonight on the MLB Network at 7 PM. Marlins face the Reds.

NASCAR Cup Series takes on the Lady in Black, Darlington Raceway this Sunday for the Goodyear 400.

Boston Celtics tied their series at 3 against the 76ers with a 95 to 86 win. Nuggets took a 4 to 2 games lead over the Sunday with a 125 to 100 win over the Suns.

The Heat take on the Knicks tonight with a 3 to 2 game lead. Lakers hope to extend their 3 to 2 lead over the Golden State Warriors.

Tomorrow the Orlando City travel to Columbus.

The Carolina Hurricanes clinched the series with a game 5 win over the Devils. Dallas Stars stay alive with a 5 to 2 win over the Kraken.

Tonight the Florida Panthers hope to shut down the Maple Leafs in game 5. The Oilers are tied with the Vegas Gold Knights at 2 game each.

In Lake Nona High baseball region quarterfinals, after an early lead the Lions fell to Windermere 6 to 3. Lucas Rosado-Rivera was 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs for Lake Nona.

Lake Nona High Hall of Fame water polo coach Alex Bennett has won the Florida Diary Farmers award. Repeat win for Emily Scheerer who scored 113 goals and had 49 assists and 39 steals.

2nd ranked UCF softball hopes to defend their title and 10-game winning streak as they take on 7th ranked Memphis at the USF softball stadium this afternoon.

Rays lost to the Orioles 2 to 1. Marlins over the Diamondbacks 5 to 4. Tonight it is Rays and Yankees on MLB Network at 7 PM.

Miami continues to lead the series 3 to 2 in spite of a 112 to 103 loss to the Knicks. Golden State Warriors over the Lakers 121 to 106. Philly leads their series 3 to 2 as they take on the 76ers tonight. Denver leads 3 to 2 as they face the Suns tonight.

In the NHL, Florida fell to the Maples Leafs 2 to 1. They lead the series 3 to 1. Vegas Golden Knights and Oilers are tied at 2 games each after Edmonton pulled out a 4 to 1 win. Carolina takes on the Devils tonight. Kraken and Stars continue their series tied at 2 each.

Caesar was born in the Caribbean island of Dominican Republic but raised predominantly here in the United States, splitting time between the states of New Jersey and Florida. He has been an Orlando, FL. resident for nearly 25 years now and consider it my home city. I am an alumni of the University of Central Florida.
